on your Premier Range. Our FAQ includes common problems that are not the result
of defective workmanship or materials in your appliance.
SURFACE

that the burners are positioned properly on the orifice hoods and the burners

circuit breaker has tripped. | Check/reset circuit breaker and or replace

Temperature not accurate | Oven capillary bulb not positioned | Verify
that capillary bulb is snapped properly in clips straight and not touching sides
or coated with oven cleaner or food. |

holes in oven bottom and off of oven racks. |

BROILING |

the broiler pan to provide more clearance between the meat and the broiler burner.

needs to be cleaned. | Excessive smoking is caused by old grease or food
spatters If the broiler is used often, clean on a regular basis. |
| Broiler drawer is left open | Close drawer when broiling. |
| Food does not broil properly. | Oven Thermostat

| Improper rack position. | See Using

| Improper use of aluminum foil. | Foil
should not be used to Cover the oven rack to the point of obstructing air flow.

MISCELLANEOUS |

| Oven
and surface units will not work at all. | The plug on the range is not properly
plugged into the electrical outlet. | Before checking the plug, disconnect
the range power supply at the household distribution panel by removing the fuse
or switching off the circuit breaker. |
| The circuit breaker in
your home has been tripped or a fuse has been blown. | Check/reset circuit
breaker and/or replace fuse. Do not increase fuse capacity. If the problem is
a circuit overload, have corrected by a qualified electrician. |
| Oven will not work. | The oven control is not properly set. | See
Oven Control. |
| Surface
units will not work. | The surface unit control is not properly set. | Push
unit control in and turn to desired setting. |
| The surface units
are not plugged in solidly. | Pull surface unit out and re-install
making sure element ends plug solidly into the receptacle. |
| The
drip pans are not set securely in the cooktop. | Reposition the drip pan
in the top opening so the pans sit flat in the top. |
| Oven temperature
too hot or too cold. | Oven Thermostat Control operation in the Broil Mode. | Turn
Thermostat Control to "OFF" and reset Oven Control rotating from "OFF" to
the desired temperature. |
| Bake element cycles off and on. | This
is normal. | The bake element will cycle as the oven temperature rises above
and falls below the set temperature. |
Smoke or odor on initial
oven operation. | This is normal. | |
| Food
does not bake evenly. | The Oven Thermostat Control operation is in the
Broil mode. | Turn the Oven Thermostat Control to "OFF" and reset Oven Thermostat
Control rotating from "OFF" to the desired temperature. |
| Wrong

| Incorrect cookware or improper size cookware is being used. | Use
correct cookware for cooking. |
| Vent tube obstructed. | Clear
vent opening located beneath one of the rear surface elements. |
